I found myself sitting next to her at lunch. She was somewhat shy but her smile was warm and contagious. It drew me in and I asked her name. Soon we were sharing our stories and before long I knew we had more in common than just an affiliation with Phoenix Home Care. We loved camping and children and football!
While listening to her story I learned she had been with Phoenix for three years. When I asked her why she continued to come to work every day she replied very simply and honestly, “This place makes me want to be a better person.”
WOW! That is culture…the greatest definition I can imagine. I read recently that culture is like a GRAVITATIONAL PULL. It pulls you in and makes you WANT to be a part of it. It is ATTRACTIVE.
This is our first blog for those who have participated in Taking Flight. It is a chance for us to talk about our culture. It is a forum where we can share stories and reconnect. But you must play, participate and post.

Purpose and Passion!
There are a few passionate pursuits that bless my world. God, Family, PHC and carrying a message of hope to those who have none.
This culture absolutely draws good people to it. My husband says ” Tens attract tens and ones attract ones.” Thank God for The Law of Attraction. It has brought so much good into my life. You all are ATTRACTIVE to me and I wake up every morning with a purpose. A purpose and passion to help folks find their New Beginning just like I found mine.
